June 1, 2015: State Senator Art Haywood will hold a news conference in the capitol on Tuesday, 2 June to recognize Gun Violence Awareness Day. Senator Haywood will join gun violence awareness advocates to discuss the critical problem of gun violence in Pennsylvania, and its impact on our public health. He will also discuss a resolution to make June 2015 Gun Violence Awareness Month in Pennsylvania. Increased awareness of gun violence is a first step for starting a constructive, bipartisan conversation on how to address this epidemic.
