When it came to be that the property would be the future home of Roberts Block, the murals were eventually painted over. With a more neutral color adorning the property, Sharkey said the township called on D’Amico again to paint a new mural on an empty space on one side of the restaurant.
Earlier projections had the restaurant opening sometime last fall. However, with construction within the property still ongoing, Sharkey said the property owners have taken their time with the remodel and now anticipate Roberts Block opening for business next month.
