Reading Revolution Virtual Program

Juneteenth

Our 6th annual summer reading program is going virtual! From 7 July to 14 August, we will offer two half-hour classes per week for children grades K-3. Grades K-1 will meet on Monday and Wednesday. Grades 2-3 will meet Tuesday and Thursday. Programming will enhance comprehension skills through games, practice, and other activities.

Classes will be offered at 11 a.m., 11:45 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. To participate, children will need a computer, phone or tablet with internet capabilities. Each child will receive a summer reading kit. To register, please visit my website and complete your registration.

Options are available to access low-cost, affordable internet. Community Legal Services (CLS) has a list of internet options, including Wi-Fi hotspots in Philadelphia. Despite COVID-19, we look forward to continuing our reading program to prevent the summer slide. Thank you.
