HARRISBURG – May 11, 2017 – Senator Haywood today announced more than $380,000 in funding for Abington Township and Jenkintown Borough. The funds will go toward the operation and maintenance of traffic signals.
“Traffic lights that work properly, and are where they are needed, are critical for efficient and safe travel. These funds, along with an additional $97,000 in local matches, will go a long way toward ensuring this is the case in Abington and Jenkintown.”
Grant funds are made possible through PennDOT’s “Green Light-Go” Program.
