Philadelphia – June 6, 2019 – State Senator Art Haywood (D-Montgomery/Philadelphia) released the following statement calling for the resignation of State Senator Daylin Leach (D-Montgomery/Delaware):
“I have become aware of new extremely serious evidence of a pattern of sexual harassment against Senator Daylin Leach. He should resign immediately. The conduct that has been revealed in the independent investigation by Eckert Seamons is reprehensible and has no place in the PA State Senate, or with any employer. Any reading of that preliminary report to the contrary is a mistake.”
“I fully support the position of Leader Costa that as a result of what has been revealed from the independent investigation and his response thereto that Senator Leach should resign.”
