Sen. Art Haywood raised concerns this week about a large pension reform bill making its way through the state Legislature.
The Republican–sponsored pension reform bill passed out of committee on Monday. Haywood said he and his staff received the more than 300-page document last Friday. He questioned it the bill’s author, State Sen. Jake Corman (R-Pa.) provided enough time for the legislation which could rewrite retirement funding for most municipal and state-government workers in Pennsylvania.
