Following the police-involved deaths of men in Missouri and New York last year, a Pennsylvania state senator is proposing a change in how deadly use-of-force cases are investigated in the commonwealth.
“There was just a decrease in the trust and confidence that normal citizens have in our criminal justice system,” said Sen. Arthur Haywood (D). “Pennsylvania can take some leadership and help to point the way into how we restore trust.”
