Norristown, PA: The Montgomery County AFL-CIO Labor Council, The Communication Workers of America-Local 13000, Local Elected Officials, the Director of Philaposh and Leaders of Southeastern PA Labor Unions will hold a Press Conference to inform the public of the status of Contract Negotiations with Verizon. Senator Haywood will highlight the responsibilities of corporate citizenship, including fair pay and reasonable benefits for employees. Good corporate citizenship can reduce income disparity and avert a retirement crisis for the commonwealth.
