Harrisburg – December 7, 2016 – Officials from Abington Hospital-Jefferson Health, including Meg McGoldrick, president, state Sen. Art Haywood (D-Philadelphia/Montgomery), Rep. Madeleine Dean (D-Montgomery), physicians, nurses and others will be participating in a check presentation ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 11 a.m. in the Board Room, Elkins Building at Abington Hospital in Abington.
The officials will discuss how the $1 million state Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program grant impacted the renovation of the Widener Building and the work at the Acute Rehabilitation Unit and Diamond Stroke Center on the hospital’s campus.
Haywood, McGoldrick, and Dean will be available to answer questions about the grant and its importance to the facility.
