Policy Hearing on Expanding School Based Health Centers in Pennsylvania

Virtual PA

On April 26th, Senators Muth and Haywood will host a hearing on the importance of expanding School Based Health Centers in the Commonwealth. School-based health centers (SBHCs) are a powerful tool for achieving health equity among children and adolescents who unjustly experience disparities in outcomes simply because of their race, ethnicity, or family income. It’s also a commonsense idea gaining currency across the country: placing critically needed services like medical, behavioral, dental, and vision care directly in schools so that all young people, no matter their zip code, and having equal opportunity to learn and grow.

This hearing will be fully virtual. Register in advance for this meeting: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZEkcemrqTwvGNSR1W4WJk38rGTTQJ2Ikhkv

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
