HARRISBURG, October 26, 2015: State Senator Art Haywood made the following statement today following his selection to serve on a committee looking into Attorney General Kathleen Kane:
“Today I was selected to serve on a bipartisan Senate special committee that will examine the capacity for Attorney General Kane to continue in her role. The Senate committee will gather information on the impact the Attorney General’s suspended law license may have on the operations of her office. In thirty days, we will report our findings as a committee to the full Senate. This is a serious matter and I will do my best to honorably serve the Commonwealth.”
